MECOSTA COUNTY, MI – State police arrested a 42-year-old man for possession of child-sexually abusive materials and utilizing a pc to commit a criminal offense whereas investigating his relationship with a 16-year-old woman.
State police started investigating Oct. 6 when the woman ran away from her residence in Newaygo County’s Ensley Township. She was discovered the following day and police decided that she was having an inappropriate relationship with the 42-year-old Mecosta County man, state police mentioned.
She ran away once more on Nov. 15 and was discovered on the man’s residence.
Police seized cellphones for the person and the teenager and obtained a number of search warrants for digital gadgets.
On Saturday, June 27, the person was arrested and held within the Mecosta County Jail. Police withheld his identify pending arraignment.
