Viola M. Braznell, 102, died peacefully Monday at St. Monica’s Senior Dwelling. She was born in Caledonia on April 6, 1917, daughter of the late Peter and Anna (nee: Kaplan) Otwaska.
On October 19, 1940, Viola married Stephen J. Braznell. They have been blessed with a few years of marriage earlier than Stephen preceded her in loss of life on Might 5, 1988. Viola was a lifelong member of St. Lucy Catholic Church, a member of the VFW Girls Auxiliary and Catholic Girl’s Membership of Racine. She was, initially, a homemaker, caring for her household.
